This session has been a long time in the making. Delays due to flooding was really putting a damper in our plans, but thankfully things worked out perfectly today. I couldn’t drive to the ferry to get to this beautiful family, but the girls’ daddy braved the flooded roads to bring me to their home. Boy was I ever appreciative! My car would have never made it. Once we got to higher ground, the beauty of mother nature in Golden Eagle, IL was visible and I was in awe! How lucky for this family to have called this their home for so many years. They are moving away for a grand adventure, but I know they will always have fond memories of their lives here. We captured some beautiful portraits today and I can’t wait to share the rest.
